Reproduction and restoration of historical architectural elements is a speciality of ours here at Ornamental Metalworks.Many times we are called in on restoration projects to reproduce, in copper, ornaments that were originally fabricated in steel and have rusted and deteriorated over the years.

Sometimes the old elements are incomplete or even missing entirely such as these sad finials from a church restoration project.

Often an idea of what once existed can be found in old pictures and a reasonable facsimile can be fabricated from patterns created by us here at Ornamental Metalworks

Here at Ornamental Metalworks we can also restore ornamentation that has survived time and the elements. Pictured below is an onion ball and cross that needed restorative work and then a new application of gold leaf.
